Theatre

Zugdidi Drama Theatre is named after Shalva Dadiani. It has been hosting theatre performances of amateur actors since the second half of the 19th century. The first play, "The Mock Doctor" by Molière, was first performed here on 11 April 1869 and was staged by Anton Purtseladze.
