How to Transform Water into Detoxification Liquid

One of the easiest ways of getting healthier is detoxification – removing toxins from the body. The easiest method of detoxification is to drink a large amount of water – 2 liters a day (on average), while in summer the amount increases due to higher temperature. In short, all roads lead to water.

Many people are already used to drinking water without even thinking about it and it has become an integral part of their everyday lives, while others need to put a serious effort to remind themselves to drink another glass of water. To make drinking water even more fun and useful at the same time, we can change the taste with new flavors: simply by adding some ingredients to water, which will help the body to get rid of toxins. What ingredients are we talking about?

1. Lemon – adding a lemon turns water into a strong detoxification liquid. Lemon juice makes alkaline water and helps the body to cleanse. You can easily drop a thin slice of lemon into a glass of water or simply pour lemon juice into the water.


2. Mint leaves add a little sweetness to the water without any sugar and at the same time helps to regulate gastrointestinal functioning and the digestion system in general.
3. Cucumber – it’s already a long time since cucumber juice has been used as a cleansing tonic, but if you add a few slices of cucumber to the water, the liquid will hydrate the body more effectively. Also, don’t forget that cucumbers also have anti-inflammatory features.
4. Ginger - These aromatic roots help cleanse the body, ease digestion and relieve abdominal discomfort. Please remember that a very small slice of ginger is enough to get the desired effect: put 2-3 thin slices in water or just shred them in a glass of water.
